Boulders Bush Lodge has a wide variety of activities to choose from.
Game Drives
A wide variety of game is found on the ranch including white rhino, buffalo, sable, eland, kudu, hyena, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, zebra, impala, nyala, waterbuck, reedbuck, duiker, klipspringer, the shy and very rare Sharpe's grysbuck, as well as a very prolific leopard population. Cheetah, wild dog, elephant and lion have also been sighted on occasion, as they pass through the ranch to neighbouring wildlife reserves.
Bush Walks
A number of different game viewing activities all under the expert guidance of a professional game guide, ensure that guests are offered a varied yet relaxing bush experience which includes, bush walks. Boulders ensures that their wildlife are well looked after by putting hidden tick sprays around the ranch.
Explore the ancient "koppies" on Boulders and witness the remarkable shapes and sizes of the rock formations. We even have a "natural replica" of Snoopy the dog.
Guided walks are perfectly safe and a great way to explore the bush. Spot your favourite animals, birds and plants. Or test your "tracking" knowledge by identifying animal tracks & scat.

Fishing
This is the real Africa, a land of Mopani trees, wide open spaces and year round summer.
The low lying parts of the province make for a long growing season and consequently Bass in the region can grow very large.
Bring your rod and we will advise you on the best spots to fish in the surrounding areas.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
We are situated 35km from the Phalaborwa gate and 110km from the Orpen gate.
The Kruger National Park offers you spectacular views of the Lowveld with animals in abundance and of course the coveted Big 5 game.
MOHOLOHOLO
Only 60km to the centre and you will see orphaned animals being groomed to go back into the wild.
Be sure to meet "Stoffel", the infamous badger who provides loads of laughs.
HOEDSPRUIT ENDANGERED WILDLIFE CENTRE
55km to Kapama’s world renowned Cheetah Breeding Project.
Close encounters with these majestic animals is a given and the photo opportunities absolutely to die for!
