HOW TO GET HERE

The access roads to the Lodges will be the R71 from Tzaneen, the R40 from Phalaborwa or the R526 from Hoedspruit.

FLIGHTS

Guests can reach the lodge via a connecting flight from Johannesburg to Phalaborwa or Hoedspruit, from where they will be collected by Boulders' staff and taken to the lodge itself.  Flights can also be chartered to the ranch, which boasts two well-appointed landing strips for fixed wing aeroplanes, microlight flights etc.

MALARIA

The Limpopo Province is within the malaria belt and accordingly guests should take the necessary precautions. Barrier sprays are made available to guests. All rooms are fitted with mosquito gauze on all windows and doors.  It is advisable that you discuss prophylactics with your GP prior to coming to the area.  We urge guests to bring extra mosquito spray if they are inclined – good products are Peaceful Sleep and Tabard.

WEATHER

The Limpopo Province is a summer, rainfall area. Rain is infrequent and generally in the early morning.

Average temperatures:  Summer 30°C - 87°F; Winter 23°C - 73°F

CHILDREN

Unfortunately, due to the lodge being on a hill, children under the age of 12 are not permitted unless prior arrangements have been made.  It is also advisable that children be supervised at all times as there may be predatory animals in the surrounding.  However, the lodge itself is safe.

No dogs are allowed at the Lodge.
